Leeds Book Awards 2012 – Part 3
The shortlists for the 2012 Leeds Book Awards have been announced.
There are three shortlists: Best Book for 9-11 year olds, Best Book for 11-14 year olds and the Breezereads Best Book for 14-16 year olds.
The winner in the 14-16 year old category last year was the brilliant Angel by L A Weatherly, a fantasy thriller which can be enjoyed by adults just as much as by young people.
The shortlist this year is:
- Angel’s Fury by Bryony Pearce
- Wreckers by Julie Hearn
- Shadows on the Moon by Zoe Marriott
- Quarry by Ally Kennen
- Department 19 by Will Hill
- Flip by Martyn Bedford
