Kick Off the Rugby League World Cup with Leeds Libraries

RLWC JJB running[1]We are very excited here in Leeds to be one of the host cities for this years Rugby League World Cup. In libraries we are kicking off 10 months of events and activities that will run up to the matches being played at Headingley Carnegie Stadium later in the year.

Join us for an afternoon of Rugby related fun at Leeds Central Library on Saturday February 9th from 12- 4pm. We will be joined by Jamies Jones Buchanon (England and Rhinos player) as well as Ronnie the Rhino. Take part in our Rugby themed quiz and library trail and play our rugby game on the X-Box.

We will also be launching our special Six Book Challenge on the afternoon. Sign up for the challenge to receive a reading diary and bookmark to record your reading.
