Super Thursday best sellers

Awful auntieDavid Walliams’ Awful Auntie is still topping the bestseller charts (3 weeks now) despite last Thusday being the publisher’s big Super Thursday before Christmas and there being lots of competition around.

Roy Keane’s The Second Half  and Martina Cole ‘The Good Life’ are also doing very well, as is Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl thanks to the film-tie in version.

Borrow them from Leeds Libraries! Keane’s memoir is written with Booker prize winner Roddy Doyle, with tales of how he once head-butted teammate Peter Schmeichel during a pre-season tour of Asia and rubbished former friends Rio Ferdinand and Gary Neville.

The second halfIt’s ahead of cricketer Kevin Pietersen’s KP — that also has some controversial bits if you are looking for that.

Lynda Bellingham’s There’s Something I’ve Been Dying to Tell You is third in the best seller list and  John Cleese’s So Anyway is also proving popular

Both have had coverage in the papers .

Anger is an energy: my life uncensoredJohn Lydon’s Anger is the Energy (former Sex Pistols frontman/Country Life Butter pitchman)- love the cover portrait – is also making the bestsellers –
