Patricia Cornwell’s new novel, her 22nd about forensic examiner Kay Scarpetta, and called Flesh and Blood , was broadcast on a screen at Liverpool Street station in London on its publication day yesterday. It took five hours to broadcast the whole of the 384-page novel.
Sarah Benton, marketing director for Cornwell’s new publisher HarperFiction has said: “Patricia Cornwell is the original creator of the forensic novel so when the idea of dissecting the text and streaming it through an outdoor panel came up we jumped on it straight away. This adds a whole new dimension to the fast-paced novel.”
Flesh and Blood is Cornwell’s 22nd novel featuring forensic examiner Kay Scarpetta. and it’s on order for Leeds Libraries.
